In Mark 2, the house is packed, the door is blocked, and four friends decide the only way to get their paralyzed friend to Jesus... is through the roof. Everyone in the room expected a healing. Instead, Jesus spoke words no one saw coming: "My child, your sins are forgiven." This week, Pastor Kelly walks us through Jesus' question: "Which is easier? To say your sins are forgiven OR to say get up and walk?" To say the words costs nothing. To prove them costs a miracle. But to accomplish lasting forgiveness would cost Jesus everything. As they focus on what they lack, Jesus asks a series of piercing questions: “Do you still not see or understand?” “Do you have eyes but fail to see, and ears but fail to hear?” “Do you still not understand?” In this message, Pastor John explores Jesus’ warning to guard our hearts and focus on what really matters.
