Self-Guided Prayer

This week, we want to pray and listen to God for what He has for Beacon in 2026.  Today is set aside for us each to take time and ready our hearts for the coming week.  Use the guide to connect with God in prayer.

Prepare Your Heart

​Take a moment and say a prayer along the lines of;

"God, I come to you just as I am. I quiet my heart before you. I want to hear you, know you, and respond to what you desire to do in me and among us this week."

Praise

Take some time to praise God for who He is and what He has done in your life.

​

Repent

The word repent, means to change directions.  To turn from something and return to God.  What are things in your life you need to turn from?  Take some time talking to God about them.

Ask

God wants us to come to Him and ask Him for our needs.  What do you want God to do in your life this week, this year?  Ask Him for these things.  What do you want to ask God for Beacon Church?

Yield

Don't rush off!  Sit quietly and just listen to what God your father wants to say to you.  Rest and enjoy His presence.  Does He want to tell you anything about this coming week or Beacon Church?
