Everybody Stepping Up

It's been incredible to see all the ways that people have been stepping up over the past month to help make Beacon Strathcona the wonderful community that it is growing into.

Each time we gather, we aren't just putting on a service or a show, we are building a community where people are discovering their roles within God's kingdom and are trying to support one another in meaningful ways.

From those who faithfully show up early to help set up (Heather) and stay late to tear down (Ayush), to those leading worship (Jacquie, Alex, James), bringing snacks (Carrie, Cheryl, Hailey, Mary) and homemade sourdough for communion (Brandon), making coffee (Ali) and pouring into our kids (Abi, Courtney)—every role matters.

It is inspiring to witness a body of believers working together, each person playing their part to create a place where people can encounter Jesus.

As we continue to move forward, let’s celebrate what God is doing in and through each one of us.
